About Me

I'm a seasoned end-to-end Product Design Leader with 14+ years of hands-on experience in UX, Product Design, and Product Analytics. I specialize in solving complex problems through efficient workflows, strong collaboration, and a service design mindset. My day-to-day involves identifying core challenges, clarifying insights, and crafting clear, actionable solutions. I’m passionate about building cohesive teams that thrive in partnership with developers.

My professional journey began in software engineering, where I spent 11 years working with global clients across software services, product development, and SaaS. While working as an engineering leader, I developed a passion for UX design—something I first discovered in an HCI class while studying Computer Science at the University of Guelph. Since then, I’ve worked with companies in insurance, software consulting, product development, labour, and the nuclear industry, helping them understand their users and make data-driven decisions to enhance their experiences.

These days, I work as a Product Design Director for a B2B SaaS platform that helps regional grocery retailers enter the eCommerce space. Here, I have the opportunity to mentor designers and shape how we deliver our services in an exciting, fast-growing industry.

Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats and enjoy tackling problems from different perspectives. My unique blend of experience has helped me foster collaboration, and I thrive on helping teams achieve high performance and accountability—it’s my favourite part of the job.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography, travelling, and hiking with my dogs, Olive & Frodo. I'm always eager to learn new things, and most recently, I've started working on my pilot's license.
